We are happy to announce that when McFarlin's Jewelry closed in 2015 Brad Ferguson of Samaritan Arts Jewelry was their sole recommendation to their customers for custom made jewelry and jewelry repair. Mike and Tresa McFarlin have been friends of Brad's since they first moved to Amarillo. We miss them, but we know they are enjoying their life back in Arkansas.
February 14th is Valentine's Day and the month of February is True Love Waits month. So, we are having our Valentine's Day/True Love Waits sale beginning on February 1st. Use the discount code TRUVAL16 in your shopping cart for 20% off your order
Many of us loved carousels, or merry-go-rounds, as children. We climbed upon the beautiful horses in anticipation of the ride to come and were caught up in the excitement of racing along, fulfilling our childhood fantasies of freedom and heroism. We were cowboys and cowgirls, members of a posse, riders in a race, or gentle folk on a country outing. And our parents or grandparents stood on the side and waved to us each time we rode past. But eventually the ride came to an end. We grew up, and many of the world's carousels closed and fell into disrepair. Happily, today a number of the great horses we rode as children are being restored or reproduced. Some are doing again what they were meant to do as part of a carousel; others are taking their places in collections as the great works of art that they are.
It is my wish that my Carousel Jewelry will spark in you the memories you have of those childhood rides. And I hope you will find these little carousel pieces to be works of art which reflect the beauty of your special interest in the merry-go-round.
